Cycling Ireland Commission Workshop (Open Day)

Cycling Ireland will hold an open day workshop on February 12th at Moran’s Red Cow Hotel in Dublin. This day is intended for representatives from each of the various Commissions and Provincial bodies. However any club representatives are also welcome to attend.

  1. 10.00 Registration with Tea / Coffee
  2. 10.15 Safety Code launch and safety talk by Denis Toomey;
  3. 10.45 Insurance Q & A by O’Driscoll O’Neill CI Brokers
  4. 11.30 Launch of Code of Practice & Safeguarding Procedures for Young & Vulnerable Cyclists
  5. 12.30  Lunch
  6. 13.15 – Open forum to discuss:
    1. 13.15 Operating Procedures for Commissions and Provinces (Rory Wyley);
    2. 14.00 Development structure (Paddy Doran & Phil Leigh);
    3. 14.45 Coaching update (Rachel Ormrod);
    4. 15.15 Rule Changes update (College of Commissaires);
    5. 15.45 Changes to 2012 fees, funding of Provinces/Commission (Geoff Liffey)
