European MTB Masters 2011
Following on from the unfortunate cancellation of the event in Killarney, the 2011 European MTB Masters Championships has been relocated to Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. This venue was already scheduled to host the event in 2012 and 2014 and also hosted the European Downhill Championships in 2009.

Upcoming international events in Ireland include the European Marathon (Elite/U23) in 2014 and the MTB Masters Cross-Country/Downhill again in 2015.
