At Last we have a XC Co-ordinator

Role  XC Co-ordinator

Introduction  I first started mountain biking in the 90s when I was in the secondary school when this sport was only taking off in Poland at the time and I absolutely loved it. But then came the usual college life distractions and it wasn’t until 2008 when I re-discovered mountain biking once again here in Ireland. In the ranks of Epic MTB / Expert Cycles I started racing XC and in the last 3 years I attended nearly every XC event in the Republic and a few up in the North. Until now I’ve been putting all my efforts into training and getting better and better results (with great success) but for 2013 I decided to do something more and join the Off-road Commission as the XC Coordinator. Except for XC I love racing Enduro, Road and occasionally BMX… not crazy about CX (maybe next year!) I’m also a qualified Cycling Ireland Trail Cycle Leader and plan to further develop my guiding and coaching skills in the following years. I see my role as an opportunity to make sure that all Cross Country National Points Series events are run to the same very high standard and that the riders are kept up to date with what is going on the XC racing scene and get their race results promptly.
