XC Champs and XC Marathon Champs 2012 Confirmed

The Offroad Commission are pleased to announce that the 2012 XC Champs and XC Marathon Champs 2012 hosting clubs and locations have now been confirmed.

Banbridge CC will host the XC Champs in the excellent Tollymore venue, which was used in 2011 for a technical and fast-flowing round of the XC NPS.

Team Ballyhoura will host the XC Marathon Champs in the extremely popular Ballyhouras trail centre, which was also host to the 2011 XC Marathon Champs.

With the kind permission of the UCI, the date for the XC Marathon Champs this year has been pulled in to late August, in order to align better with the Irish XC race season, which in turn will result in larger race higher attendance and even more competition in the various categories, it may even mean that there’ll be warm sunshine all day!
