Outstanding Contribution
This was an individual award appointed by the Offroad Commission and awarded to Ronan Kavanagh aka Flexo for promotion of Irish DH racing.
From the schlomp and madness of Round 1 in Cahir, to the dust and blazing sunshine of the DH Nationals in Rostrevor, he travelled to and filmed and edited every DH race in 2010 to create a series of excellent videos freely available on the web, showcasing the thrills and spills of Irish DH racing.
He has also filmed and produced promotional videos for 2 of Ireland’s most promising young DH riders – Greg Callaghan and Dan Sheridan, which will hopefully help those lads a leg-up to a European and World Cup podium in the not too distant future.
