2011 National Cyclocross Championships – Rule Amendments
In 2010 the UCI changed the cyclocross rules so that tires wider than 33mm would be banned from UCI events. The national championships on the 9th of January 2011 is a UCI sanctioned event so this rule would have come into effect. Due to the number of riders still riding on tires wider than 33mm an agreement has been reached with the commissarie that this rule will not be enforced at the national championships for 2011.
Any rider riding with 33mm tires or wider will still be allowed to compete in the National Championships on the 9th January 2011.
