Wyman CX Coaching Weekend
Former two time European Cyclocross champion Helen Wyman is hosting a weekend of cyclocross clinics and Q&A sessions in Lurgan Park and Dublin on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August. Helen is also 10 time British Champion and has placed top 10 in the world championships on three occasions.
Sessions are open to riders of all abilities and experience from youth to senior.
Several sessions are planned which includes a free Youth session in Lurgan Park and a dedicated Women’s Commission session in Dublin on Sunday. Demand is due to be high and each session is limited to 30 riders. Riders must pre-register at www.helenwyman.com/calendar
Helen will be accompanied by her husband Stef Wyman, former owner and Team Manager of Matrix ProCycling women’s team and a huge advocate for cyclocross and women’s cycling. The sessions take place in a relaxed atmosphere and will end with a Q&A on all topics.
On confirming the weekends coaching sessions, Helen said, “Cyclocross in Ireland is really going from strength to strength, and that’s becoming clear to everyone in the sport as the team national team has developed over the past two seasons. Working with Andy for a cross clinic a couple of years ago opened my eyes to the sport in Ireland and it’s a pleasure to be coming back once again. To have such a visible presence at the World Championships and several World Cups for the past two seasons has been great and fingers crossed, running structured clinics with Andy and also the Women’s Commission is going to help with the next step.”
