National MTB Marathon Championships – results

The 2015 National MTB Marathon Championships took place at Kilbroney Park, Rostrevor, County Down on Sunday 13 September.  Hosted by Summit MTB and the Cycling Ireland Off-road Commission the riders had to complete two loops of a tough circuit which incorporated the trail centre as well as open-mountain sections.  It was going to be a tough day anyway but the wet weather at the later half of the day made going even harder.

Congratulations to Gareth McKee (Banbridge CC) on winning the Senior men’s event and to Mel Spath on winning the Elite female’s race.
